We can track visits to any other vertical apart from the ones listed in prohibited category section below. In 2023 we saw new tracking parameters to schools (including elementary and middle schools- not including colleges), hospitals, medical centers, and religious establishments (updated July 2023).  Please see your trainer for a full list of both prohibited and restricted categories. Here’s a chart to help navigate those categories:

 

Additionally, you cannot track visits or run Geo-Fencing, Geo-Retargeting, or Geo-Retargeting Lookalike for the following categories:

    • Marijuana/Medical Marijuana (including dispensaries)
    • Radioactive materials/ Uranium/ Radium/ Nuclear Fuels and laboratories
    • Arms and ammunition (including firearms and shooting ranges)
    • Army and military bases
    • Missiles/ Rocket Manufacturers/ Space vehicles
    • Adult content
    • Escort services/ Gentlemen’s clubs (no longer allowed on MC with any targeting)
    • Polling stations on election days
    • Government – International affairs
      *Courthouses you need a 1-mile radius or more
      *Correctional facilities you need a 1-mile radius or more
      *White House/State representative buildings you need a 1-mile radius or more
      *DMV not included in government buildings and can target normally
    • Military bases are deemed semi sensitive. You can geofence at a minimum 1 mile radius, you cannot target more granular than 1 mile.

*Most medical offices are ok for geo-fencing (minimum .2 miles+) and geo-retargeting except in the following states: Washington, New York, Nevada, and Connecticut.  We also cannot track visits to medical facilities in these states. The lowest geo-fencing radius you are permitted to run around a medical facility is .5 miles.
