There are a couple pretty simple reasons we have not yet included Netflix and Hulu into our OTT Offerings.
- Netflix CPM hard costs are $130+ still mainly for national advertisers
- Hulu is not included due to the costs and the minimums they require, which are high because they don’t have a self-serve platform, only managed services. The cost would be a minimum of $70,000 PER CLIENT, which is cost prohibitive for most of our clients.
- Amazon – We do buy across some but not all Amazon services. Prime is a subscription service- you won’t see commercials on it like Netflix. No one can buy on Amazon Prime. We do buy on the device of Fire TV- we have access to Amazon inventory through our current OTT buys. There are 30 million active monthly users on Fire TV. (click here to see our FAQ on Amazon alone)
