Trustworthy Accountability Group, or TAG, a joint initiative of the ANA, 4As, and IAB. This is a powerful self-regulatory body aimed at eliminating fraudulent advertising.  Websites that accept advertising can become TAG certified.

Our exchanges are constantly being monitored for ad fraud prevention, and any cases where fraud has been exposed is immediately refunded and re-ran within our campaigns. Many of the sites we serve on are certified, but we cannot serve ads only to sites that have gone through this certification due to lack of available inventory. We base our performance not on impressions served on sites that are tag-certified, and rather on true conversions and real life in-store visits.
