Event Response ads do NOT link to the client’s website – therefore conversions on the clients website will be low.  Two things can happen when a user clicks on an Event Response ad:

  1.  If the person clicks on the INTERESTED button (see below) – the person is not directed to a different page – it just changes the button to a check mark that the person is interested and going forward the person will receive reminders in his/her notifications panel on Facebook.  See below:

2.  If the person clicks on the IMAGE in the ad it will take the person to the FACEBOOK EVENT PAGE for that client.  Or if the person clicks on the client name or logo (see below “ALWAYS POSITIVE GROUP”) it takes you to the client’s main Facebook page.
