MRC stands for Media Ratings Council.  The MRC holds more digital ad exchanges (as well as radio and tv ratings services) accountable for making sure the impressions they are running is coming from good quality traffic. Some exchanges participate in MRC validations, like Google and Mobile Conquesting, while other major exchanges do not, like Facebook. Until all major ad exchanges are MRC validated, Vici relies on other industry quality standards, like TRAQ scores (True Advertising Quality Scores which measures the quality of a website receiving ad traffic) as well as using container tags to measure all conversions, the true ROI, on a client’s website.
