From our Mobile Conquesting Exchange: We invest heavily in the quality of our data, ensuring we use only true visits to drive performance. Our visit methodology and attribution takes into consideration these three main components:

    1. Location Verification-  We check latitude and longitude to determine someone’s location at a given place and time. We filter inaccurate location signals due to horizontal accuracy, centroids, and suspicious patterns.
    2. Place Verification – We map places and provide context for where someone is. We match location signals to places using Blueprints which is the industry’s largest and most accurate geofencing platform. Unlike typical geofencing platforms, which creates radiuses around a location, Blueprints form polygons by tracing the store or place boundary based on satellite images to capture the precise boundaries of a location. All mobile location signals are mapped back to a business or POI using Blueprints. It’s the only mapping platform that accurately draws brands and multi-layer POIs, which we believe is necessary to fully understand who mobile users are and how they engage with their surroundings.
    3. Visit Verification – We use a multi-step process to confirm the visit actually took place. We filter out visits due to dwell time, horizontal accuracy, speed, employee filtering and store hours. We conduct an annual location accuracy audit of our foot traffic data and are the only location provider to be third-party validated for accuracy.
